Advantage English School EJ, Whistler BC:
Advantage English School EJ is an English language school in Whistler, in the province of British Columbia, Canada. Whistler is a resort town, famous primarily for skiing and snowboarding, and was the venue for the 2010 Winter Olympics. It is located approximately 125 kilometres (78 miles) north of Vancouver BC and is a four hour flight from Toronto. Our warm and friendly school offers English courses to students from around the world who can enjoy outdoor sports as they study English.

Advantage E/J English School offers various English courses to suit all levels of learners, for people who want to improve their language skills. Whether you are just learning the basics of the language or you need to improve your communication skills, Advantage E/J has a program to suit your needs. Our small classes allow for more personal interaction with the teacher. Students come from all over the world to attend our school, from countries including Japan, Korea, Spain, Switzerland, etc.

The purpose of our school is to provide students whose native language is not English with language lessons in a friendly and supportive environment so that they can refine and strengthen their language skills. Our teachers and staff ensure that each student is meeting his or her goals by talking to the students individually about their goals at the beginning of the course, checking the student progression throughout the duration of their studies and filling out a progress report at the end.

The school is located on the 2nd floor of the St.Andrews building (the building next to Starbucks), right in the heart of Whistler Village. It is only 2mins. from both Blackcomb and Whistler Mountains in a very convenient location close to supermarkets, sports shops, theatres, banks, clinics, and coffee shops, etc.

Through home stay at Advantage E/J, you will learn English through natural integration. Home stay is where you will experience real Canadian living. Fully immerse yourself in your studies in class then reinforce what you have learned the natural way–by being part of a Canadian family. Our host families are friendly, helpful and eager to welcome you into their homes. Experience the true north lifestyle and take with you fond memories of Whistler wherever you go.

In addition to daily activities, one of the most important aspects of a home stay experience is the time spent chatting to your host family at mealtime. In this regard, it is important to preplan your daily schedule in order to take in the full benefits of your home stay experience.

Students should let us know as soon as possible if they wish to do a home stay, as space is limited.

Dormitory Accommodation:
Private and shared accommodation is also available in two convenient dormitories which are located close to Whistler Village.
