American College of Hair Design, Sedalia:
Situated in Sedalia MO, 90 minutes east of Kansas City, American College of Hair Design provides professional beauty & make-up training courses in Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Cosmetology Instructor Training. Our programs feature dedicated, hands-on instruction taught by highly-qualified tutors. Founded in the 1960's we have been helping students to find their way to success in the world of cosmetology and hair design for over 50 years. Our school is housed in a large, 6000-square-foot, modern building featuring state-of-the-art cosmetology facilities.

Professional Beauty / Makeup Training Courses:

Cosmetology Course:
Duration: 1500 clock hours - 1 year (approx 50 weeks)
Graduates of our Cosmetology program will be able to obtain entry level positions, perform cosmetology services offered in a full service salon, Other opportunities include the ownership of a salon,  platform work, sales, marketing, stylist specialist, and instructor

Esthetics Course:
Duration: 750 clock hours / 26 weeks
Throughout the Esthetics course, students learn the skills and other requirements necessary to procure a license through the Missouri State Board of Cosmetology.

Cosmetology Instructor Training:
Duration: 600 clock hours / 20-24 weeks
Our Instructor Training course prepares a licensed cosmetologist to become a qualified instructor in a licensed school of cosmetology. This course uses various methods of instruction, including evaluation, observation, planning, preparation, and presentaion.
