Ecole Suisse Internationale de Dijon:
The Ecole Suisse Internationale, located in Dijon (300 km south east of Paris), France, is a French language school offering French Immersion Programs to teenagers (over 16 years old) & adults all year round. We offer a general program which will be refined according to specific objectives of each group. In this way, every course is organized compared to the number of participants, their financial means and their availability. Thanks to our capacity of adaptation, we present a service of quality and seriousness.

French Immersion Program:
All year round, the Ecole Suisse Internationale in Dijon hosts pre-established groups of teenagers (over 16 years old), students or adults who follow an intensive program dedicated to the language and the French culture. The program in Dijon is conceived as an immersion program stressed on oral practice. Students will have to practice their French through activities within and without the class room.

Quite as our Parisian center, the Dijon school follows the levels recommended by the European Council thanks to the Common European Framework of references for Languages (CECR). In order to interact with his/her surrounding, every student must have minimum French skills (required level: A2 from CECR).

French with Food and Wine:
In order to discover all those specialties while practicing French, we are offering 1 week program in Dijon. Courses will be divided between learning activities and practice into town (run shopping at the open-air market, cook, food and wine testing …) and represents 25 hours (3 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon).

Participants would also be able to carry on with practicing French thanks to the housing formula in host families. To allow a rich communication with many exchanges, a minimum level of B1 from the CECR is required to take part in this program.

Homestay Program:
The host families are chosen with good care and live all in the Dijon urban area. Some students will take the bus to the school, other will walk.

Each student will have at his/her disposal a furnished bedroom within the apartment or the house (following in terms the European norm EN 14804). With the host family, the student can experience the “French way of life”, interact with French people and share his/her own culture. The student will be a part of the host family’s private and social life. Then, it is not only a simple housing, but a wonderful occasion to practice the language and to share.

Cultural Activities:
Cultural activities can be also offered: touring of the city, visit of museums, visit of historical sites, visit of castles, cellar visits, wine or black currant tasting, visits of companies, etc. As possible, the excursions are guided by our teachers, who adapt the rhythm and the contents to the students.

Exam Preparation:
Our school is an official center for the CCIP exams. Numerous groups of students follow an intensive training program. Examinations are organized by us, in the school. We are happy to announce 80% success rate for the DFP (Diploma in professional French).

We are also in position to plan sessions for the DELF (Diploma in French language studies) for groups who wish to take this kind of test at the end of their program.
