E.L.F.E., Paris:
E.L.F.E. in Paris city centre is a small French language school specialising in teaching French as a foreign language to adults in small groups of 6 people for 20 years. We know each of our students individually, and provide a family atmosphere, coupled with highly professional teaching methods. We offer French courses in mini-groups for a maximum of 6 people. These mini-groups enhance teaching efficiency, optimising participation and interaction and developing the student’s autonomy within the class. The 6 levels, from elementary to upper advanced, are in conformity with the levels defined by the European Council.

1. E.L.F.E. is an official examination centre for the TCF ("Test de Connaissance du Français") was developed under the control of the French Ministry of Education.

2. International Association of Language Centres - IALC - ( a worldwide network of leading independent language schools that teach the language of their country to students from abroad).

3. SOUFFLE ( SOUFFLE groups 18 internationally reputed Fench schools, all committed to maintaining the high quality of their service).

4. E.L.F.E. is an accredited "Bildungsurlaub" centre by the cities of Hamburg, for the programmes of 25 hours or more and by Berlin, Saarland, Sachsen Anhalt, Brandenburg und Schleswig-Holstein for the programmes of 30 hours (40 lessons of 45 minutes).

Our small mini groups enhance teaching efficiency, optimising participation and interaction and developing the student’s autonomy within the class. The 6 levels, from elementary to upper advanced, are in conformity with the levels defined by the European Council.

Our teachers use teaching methods fully adapted to their students’ particular profile (nationality, profession, specific aptitudes, age). Two teachers alternate in working with each mini-group. This allows students to remain independent in their learning and to benefit from different personalities and teaching styles.

In addition to French lessons in Paris, E.L.F.E. recommends host family accommodation in Paris. We can also help you find a hotel, an "appart-hotel" or rent a very well equipped furnished studio apartment in the neighbourhood.

Airport Transfer:  We can also come and pick you up at the airport. Students wishing to be met at the airport should forward the name of the airport, the terminal, the arrival time and the flight number. Arrival must be between 6.00 am and 8.00 pm.

In the 19th Century, the ninth arrondissement was the heart of the city of Paris. With the exception of the cookery demonstration at the Ritz, all the cultural options require a minimum of 3 students and an intermediate or advanced level of French.
