Dijon is an important regional metropolis, at the crossroads of industry and transportations in the east of France. The region managed nonetheless to associate modernity to tradition throughout the 2Oth century and may well be proud of its world famous gingerbread, Dijon mustard and Burgundy wines. This is the incredibly varied context in which we're inviting you to come and improve your mastery of Moliere's language.
The University of Burgundy is the proud Alma Mater of some 24000 students studying a variety of subjects ranging from the hard sciences to humanities complete with a medical college and law school. The campus offers a wide range of extra-curricular content in the artistic and cultural domains as well as more than 40 sports and outdoors activities, and all that within the city limits and no further than a mile and a half from the historical city center.

Situated in the University's central administration building, the CIEF’s media center provides specially designed individual study facilities for students who can also obtain advice and guidance from the librarian.

Learn to speak French! EIFE2F is a school for foreigners wishing to learn French. Institut Savoisien D'etudes Françaises Pour Etrangers (ISEFE) located in Chambéry, Savoie in the Rhône-Alpes region in the French Alps is a University Institute which specialises in teaching French as a foreign language to adults from non-Francophone countries. ISEFE propose 3 trimesters of 12 weeks each, with 16 or 20 hours per week. Lessons generally take place in the morning. To complement its courses, ISEFE offers many cultural, sporting and recreational activities where French and foreign students can meet.
