Phorms Education Campus Hamburg: Phorms Education in Hamburg, Northern Germany is an international school offering whole-day bilingual education in German and English. We currently offer nursery school and primary school programs for children from pre-school age up to Year 4. Our school was founded in 2008, making it the most recent Phorms School to be established. It offers a family atmosphere characterised by the high degree of mutual respect which exists between our staff, students and parents.
Nursery School (Ages 3 - 5): We use our nursery school to prepare children in a play-based manner for the teaching and learning which takes place at primary school. Our activities are aimed at five year old’s in the year before they begin school.
We take a holistic approach towards a daily routine in which the children gain experience in learning together and in organising themselves. We pay particular attention to personal skills development in such areas as holding a pen, working autonomously, concentration, logical thinking, reading and an understanding of numbers.
Teaching predominantly takes place in English according to the immersion method in order to ensure that the children are fully prepared to enter Year 1 of primary school. One of the childcare specialists for each group speaks (almost) entirely in English. This enables the children to learn the language within a natural daily context. Primary School (Grades 1 - 4): The curriculum of our private school taught is based on the outline curriculum of the federal state of Hamburg. We also use the Cambridge International Primary Programme (CIPP) in the subjects English, mathematics and science. The International School Hannover Region is a co-educational day school enrolling students from Kindergarten (age 3) to grade 12 situated in Hannover, northern Germany. Phorms Education in Munich in the Bavarian region of Southern Germany offers whole-day bilingual education in German and English for nursery school, primary school and secondary school. Our private school is housed in a wonderful building in the Bogenhausen district of Munich.
We place great value in offering our students individual and intensive support. Our teachers also encourage the children to take part in extra-curricular activities such as music, Olympics training and reading competitions as well as the “Children’s University” operated by Munich University.
