Phorms Education in Hamburg, Northern Germany is an international school offering whole-day bilingual education in German and English. We currently offer nursery school and primary school programs for children from pre-school age up to Year 4. Our school was founded in 2008, making it the most recent Phorms School to be established. It offers a family atmosphere characterised by the high degree of mutual respect which exists between our staff, students and parents.

Nursery School (Ages 3 - 5):
We use our nursery school to prepare children in a play-based manner for the teaching and learning which takes place at primary school. Our activities are aimed at five year old’s in the year before they begin school.
We take a holistic approach towards a daily routine in which the children gain experience in learning together and in organising themselves. We pay particular attention to personal skills development in such areas as holding a pen, working autonomously, concentration, logical thinking, reading and an understanding of numbers.
Teaching predominantly takes place in English according to the immersion method in order to ensure that the children are fully prepared to enter Year 1 of primary school. One of the childcare specialists for each group speaks (almost) entirely in English. This enables the children to learn the language within a natural daily context.
Primary School (Grades 1 - 4):
The curriculum of our private school taught is based on the outline curriculum of the federal state of Hamburg. We also use the Cambridge International Primary Programme (CIPP) in the subjects English, mathematics and science. Our students are taught bilingually according to the immersion concept (German-English).

Founded in 2000 by the state government of Berlin, Nelson Mandela School is an international comprehensive school in Berlin, providing quality bilingual education in grades 1-13 to children from a wide variety of backgrounds. We have two locations in Berlin, both are centrally located in the inner-city boroughs of Charlottenburg and Wilmersdorf: Our primary campus is located on Pfalzburger Street (Wilmersdorf) and our secondary campus is located at Kastanienallee (Charlottenburg).Our school is a member of UNESCO’s Associated Schools Project, the European Council of International Schools and the International Baccalaureate Organisation. Berlin Cosmopolitan School (BCS) is an international school with a focus on sciences, sports and arts in the heart of Berlin. Conveniently situated in the Spandau area to the west of Berlin, International School Villa Amalienhof (ISVA) is a day school which follows the National Curriculum of England and Wales and the Berliner Rahmenlehrplan. Bonn International School (BIS) is an independent, self-supporting, nonprofit association, located in Bonn, Germany. BIS was created in 1997 from the merger of 3 well-established and successful schools in Bonn: The Bonn American High School, the British High School Bonn, and the Bonn American Elementary School.
