The Hellenic Cultural Centre is located in the heart of Athens.
The Hellenic Culture Centre is located in the heart of the city of Athens, only fifteen minutes far from Omonia Square, in a well-lit office of 200 s.m. on the 3rd floor of 18 Derigny Str, p.c. 10434.
The Centre houses two large classrooms, a library and a video/ CD library (books and videos, as well as a variety of Greek music CDs, Greek movies and documentary films). Books on the instruction of Greek as a foreign/second language, on Adult Education and on Intercultural Education as well as on Greek history, the arts and culture are all at the disposal of the students. Students can use the computers connected to the Internet at no extra charge, to watch Greek TV, and can borrow a CD player or cassette player in order to practise listening comprehension outside the classroom.
The historical centre of the city is very close to the Hellenic Culture Centre, which is a meeting point for students from all over the world. Close to the Hellenic Culture Centre there are museums (five minutes walk from the Archeological Museum of Athens), theatres, bookshops and shops, as well as the Cultural Centre of the Municipality of Athens, Stoa tou Bibliou (The Bookshop Arcade) and various Universities (two minutes walk from the Economic University of Athens, 20 minutes from the Faculty of Law Studies and other Universities).
