KLEIS-WORKSHOP for Greek Language & Culture:
Situated in the heart of Chania, on the Greek island of Crete, Kleis Workshop for Greek Language & Culture provides a range of Greek language courses for international students at beginner to advanced levels.
Our privately owned facilities are located in the city of Chania, in one of the best districts of its modern part, Amberia, very near to the historical and beautiful quarter of Halepa and only 5 minutes away from the busy Eleutherias square (or Dikasterion Square, as the citizens of Chania call it).
Our building is a small 19th century country house of about 100 m2, surrounded by a verandah, yard and garden, today fully integrated into the urban infrastructure of Chania and recently renovated.
In the neighbourhood you can find whatever you might need: a greengrocer’s, bakery and supermarket are a two-minute walk from the school. Cafes, restaurants, bookshops, banks can be found at Dikasterion Sq., 5 minutes away.

We offer a range of English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher training courses including the Cambridge-accredited CELTA and DELTA courses. Cambridge CELTA and DELTA courses lead to a professional teaching qualification, and are the most sought-after and well-respected international teaching qualifications.The Cambridge CELTA Certificate course is available fully online, onsite in Athens or in Mixed Mode format (half online and half onsite)

Lord Byron Schools of Languages provides year-round modern Greek language courses in our city centre school in Thessaloniki in Central Macedonia in Northern Greece, approximately 515 km (320 miles) north of Athens. We offer special tailor-made courses in Greek for specific purposes, activities and entertainment during the week, excursions and visits on a weekly basis and much more. We also have an international summer school in Gerakini and Ouranoupoli, Chalkidiki in West Macedonia in Northern Greece. From Thessaloniki, Gerakini is 80 km (50 miles) and Ouranoupoli is 140 km (87 miles). Our summer school runs during the holidays with 4 or 5 hours Greek language tuition per day. All our teachers are highly experienced, hold university degrees and are bilingual.
Thessaloniki's international airport Macedonia is approximately 15 km (9 miles) south of the city centre, with direct connections to many national and international destinations.

Established in 1998 in the Glyfada area of southern Athens, Babel Language Centre provides modern Greek language courses to adult learners from around the world.The courses at Babel Language Centre are designed for both the serious and the casual learner. Our approach to the teaching of language is based on the Communication Method. This means that we place emphasis on spoken Modern Greek.
Our friendly instructors are all fully qualified teachers and native speakers of Greek. They are talented, conscientious and sensitive to learners needs with extensive experience in the teaching of Greek as a foreign language to adults.
Our aim is to consolidate learning and create opportunities for developing fluency, not simply to get through a course book. Prescribed textbooks and workbooks are regularly supplemented by the school's original material distributed in class.

The Hellenic American Union in Thessaloniki & Athens, Greece, is a public-service institution with an international focus and strong community commitment, dedicated to providing opportunities for a diverse range of audiences to encounter and benefit from innovative educational programs and cultural events. The Modern Greek Language Program has been offering courses in Modern Greek to foreign students in Athens since 1957. Since then, every year, more than 800 students from approximately 75 countries join the Program.
