Hellenic Culture Centre, Athens:
The Hellenic Culture Centre located in the heart of Athens is an institution specialized in organizing Greek language courses for foreigners and educational programmes for adults. It was founded in 1995 and since then it has carried out its programmes in Athens, where it is based, and in selected venues throughout Greece and abroad.
Intensive and Extensive Greek Courses:
The curriculum is divided into seven classes covering all levels (Beginners Ι-Advanced II). Programme design is based on the curriculum of the Centre for Greek Language, on the description of basic level by the University of Athens and on the European Language Portfolio.There are also special courses for professionals who work with Greek language:
- Programme for Interpreters/Translators
- Three-Month Perfection Programme (it includes also Greek history, economic terminology, practice in interpreting and translating from Greek)
- Programme of "Katharevousa"
- Literature- Legal Terminology
- Other Terminology Programmes (economic terminology, technical terminology, terminology of social and political sciences, etc)
- Programme for the Certificate of Attainment in GreekThe Courses can be booked for:- 2-week intensive seminars (60 hour courses)
- Extensive seminars of two or more months
Private Greek Lesons:
Private, tailor-made courses in every level (as well as in special courses) are organized throughout the year.
Easter and Summer Courses:
Intensive Greek language courses specially designed in order to address the educational needs of foreign students are held in Easter and summer, in Skala Loutron, Lesvos (Mytilene) Island, Aegean Sea, Greece. The courses are intended for:
- Visitors or residents of Greece
- Professionals who work with Greek language (interpreters/ translators, teachers of Ancient Greek, embassy officers, employees in enterprises, etc)
- Foreign students in Hellenic Studies Programmes in Universities abroad as well as foreign students of Universities in Greece
- Greeks living abroad
- Anyone who wishes to improve his/her Greek or start learning the language

Situated in the Nea Ionia area of northern Athens, Alexandria Institute provides Greek language courses for students who want to make rapid progress in Greek language and deepen their knowledge of Greece and its culture. We offer intensive language courses for beginner, intermediate and advanced level. Each course is 40 hours, divided into 10 days and includes grammar, reading, speaking, and writing. It also provides an insight into Greek culture and civilization.

The Hellenic American Union in Thessaloniki & Athens, Greece, is a public-service institution with an international focus and strong community commitment, dedicated to providing opportunities for a diverse range of audiences to encounter and benefit from innovative educational programs and cultural events. The Modern Greek Language Program has been offering courses in Modern Greek to foreign students in Athens since 1957.
