The Harris School, Houston:
Conveniently located in downtown Houston TX, The Harris School offers a specialized curriculum for at-risk children from Preschool through Grade 8 who are typically average to above average intellectually, are not functioning at their full potential due to underlying social or emotional difficulties, and have needs that are not being met in a traditional school setting. Our program is designed for children who are experiencing anxiety or depression, have suffered trauma, or those diagnosed with ADHD, PDD, SID, ODD, Bipolar Disorder, Tourette Syndrome or Asperger’s Disorder.
The Harris School began in 1996 as a preschool, developed after many years of hard work by several dedicated members of the Houston-Galveston Psychoanalytic Institute and funded by donations from generous benefactors. It was named after one of its founders, board member, outstanding contributor, psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, Hunter Harris, M.D.

Our program is accredited through SACS/CASI (The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools/ Council on Accreditation and School Improvement).

Immaculate Conception School (ICS), located in Grand Prairie, Texas, is a private catholic school serving Pre-K - 8th Grade. ICS, originally named St. Cecilia's, began in February 1916 with mass in a parishioner's home. The school was opened in September 1952 as a four grade school, staffed by four teachers furnished by the sisters of St. Benedict, of Covington, Louisiana. ICS serves an average of two hundred and fifty students, grades PK-8. Through the years our faculty has been honored with educators from five different countries and four religious orders.
