We aim to provide an exceptional learning environment for students and their families by using an integrated academic and therapeutic program designed to enhance self-awareness, problem solving skills and social-emotional well-being.

The lessons for each child are based on the Texas Essential Elements of Knowledge and Skills. Opportunities for enrichment and socialization accompany The Harris School curriculum. This includes: P.E., karate, art, music therapy and social skills.

The staff understands that each student comes to the school at different levels of development and each student needs an individualized plan in order to grow. They continuously balance the academic and the emotional needs of the student, using a therapeutic approach to achieve academic growth.
