Primary Years Programme (IB PYP)
Early Years + Grades 1-5
The learning journey begins in the Early Years (ages three to six). The name ‘Early Years’ refers to these first few years of life and reflects our aim to have purposeful practice based on current research. The journey continues through Grades 1-5 (ages six to eleven). Students learn to respect each other as they participate in many collaborative learning experiences.
Middle Years Programme (IB MYP)
Grade 6 – Grade 10
The Middle Years Programme is an international curriculum drawing on current pedagogy from around the world. Subject groups are linked with each other by conceptual understandings and the MYP areas of interaction. The curriculum is designed to ensure a progression of skills development including both subject specific and approaches to learning skills from Grade 6 – Grade 10
IB Diploma Programme (IB DP)
Grades 11-12
Students take a minimum of five standard level (SL) subjects plus CAS plus an approaches to learning course shared with the IBCC students.
International Baccalaureate Career-related Certificate (IBCC)
Grades 11-12
The IBCC is a two-year program for students in grades 11 and 12 that includes many of the same elements as the Diploma Programme: at least two IB Diploma level courses, a Reflective Project, an approaches to learning skills component (called ATL), an emphasis on language development and involvement in community and service (through CAS).
