Wells International School, Bangkok:
Wells International School offers full kindergarten, primary and secondary (middle and high school) programs in Bangkok, Thailand. We follow a rigorous American curriculum, modified to take into account major regional and philosophical differences, and to adhere to Thai Ministry of Education regulations governing international schools. The medium of instruction is English, but secondary languages such as French, Hindi, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Mandarin Taiwanese, Spanish and Thai are also offered.

Kindergarten Program:
Children’s early learning experiences have a profound effect on development; their receptivity to new influences and capacity to learn are at their peak. Wells International School – Thong Lor - Primary School (Grades 1 - 5):
Wells International School – Thong Lor offers rigorous international academic and extra-curricular programs, founded upon the California curricular standards. Wells on Nut - Secondary School (Grades 6 - 12):
Wells International School’s instructional foundation is the American curriculum and more specifically the California standards, which have been adapted to fit the diverse needs of an international student body in Thailand. It holds all students to high academic standards, expecting them to not only retain content, but to also critically analyze and evaluate that knowledge. Comprehension of the standards is assessed twice each year using the tenth and most recent Standardized Application Test (SAT10).

Additionally, students are encouraged to find ways in which they can make a difference for the better in their lives and those of others through the application of the lessons both inside and outside the school walls. Lastly, the rigorous requirements are standardized through the teaching of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), SAT Reasoning Test (SAT), Preliminary SAT (PSAT) and Advanced Placement (AP) courses, all of which extensively prepare secondary students for studies at universities worldwide and even allow them to earn university credit.

Advanced Placement Program:
Advanced Placement (AP) courses–originating from a joint study between Ivy League universities Harvard, Princeton and Yale–have been considered a benchmark for university entrance in the United State and universities worldwide for over fifty years and ultimately allow students more freedom than the IB program, as they are able to choose the courses in which they are interested. Students are able to select from a wide range of courses that can count toward university credit upon completion.

PSAT & SAT Preparatory Courses:
The SAT Reasoning Test is utilized by universities worldwide, and particularly in North America, as a means of determining whether students are prepared for the rigorous demands of higher education. Measuring their critical reasoning, reading and writing skills, the exam has been found by numerous studies to be a good predictor of student success at the university level. Wells offers both SAT and Pre-SAT preparation for its secondary students.

After-School Programs:
Wells offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities, clubs and academic support both in-schedule and after school. By partnering with world-class organizations such as Piyarom Sports Club and Superstar Academy, Wells students gain access to an even wider range of performing arts and sports options.
