Our Philosophy:

At EtonHouse, we aim to develop each child into a well-balanced individual through engaging environments that support children's curiosity and wonder; that engage children and that offer them a wide range of materials to work in purposefully designed learning areas.

Every child should acquire social skills and the confidence to communicate freely and easily with both adults and peers. EtonHouse has been established to provide a happy, relaxed and safe environment that contributes to the development of the whole person.

Small Class Sizes:
Our excellent staff-to-child ratio is a vital factor in the success of our programmes. We offer children a multi-dimensional programme with many diverse and spontaneous learning opportunities.

We provide an environment in which children grow in independence and take responsibility for their own learning.

International Programme:

We aim to foster a love for learning in children and provide them with the skills they need to be adaptable and flexible in a rapidly changing world.

Also, we strive towards creating a learning community in which all members are caring, open-minded, knowledgeable, balanced, reflective, thinkers, communicators and risk takers. EtonHouse International Pre-School Melaka seeks to nurture in our students:

- critical & compassionate thinking
- a sense of the universal values of shared humanity
- respect for the variety of cultures in the world today
- an understanding of community
- an active engagement in charitable projects

International Preschool Programmes for children ages 1-6:
- Pre-Nursery - 18 months old
- Nursery - 2 to 3 years old
- Kindergarten - 4 to 6 years old

An Inquire-Think-Learn curriculum, inspired by the Reggio Emilio approach is followed in all classes.

Research-Based Curriculum:

As early childhood educators, we do not just work with academic content (number, reading & writing). We aim to support the holistic development of the learner - their physical, emotional, social, intellectual, creative and language development.

We offer an academically rigorous educational programme based on skills, attitudes, concepts, knowledge and action. Through an inquiry-based programme, students at EtonHouse are encouraged to become critical thinkers, life-long learners and active members in the community.

Children are recognized as active participants in the learning process. Emphasis is placed on first-hand practical experiences which engage children's imagination and curiosity, fostering genuine understanding. Children are encouraged to plan and negotiate, identify and solve problems, take learning risks, approach tasks from different perspectives and develop a critical appreciation towards all aspects of their work.

EtonHouse International Pre-School Melaka campus offers an education that is truly international in its curriculum, approach and environment. The curriculum is richly stimulating and designed to develop students academically, physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially. The EtonHouse curriculum and pedagogy have been inspired by globally accepted best teaching practice.
