Tersac Private School, Bordeaux:
Situated in Meilhan sur Garonne near Bordeaux, in southwest France, Tersac is a private and mixed boarding school for international children from 1st to 6th form, both during the school year and in the summer holidays. Our original and soft methods foster an efficient working attitude. Many parents of foreign students have chosen to commit their children's education to the professional teachers of the Tersac School.

Learning French at Tersac Boarding school has the benefit of:

Courses:

International Boarding School Program; Primary School Program; Secondary School Program; Summer School Program. Classes are taught in French with intensive French classes for international students.

French Training for International Students:

A minimum of 20 hours of teaching per week, courses in French taught through the communicative methods [oral and written French]. The course is validated by a certificate of successful completion.

The Baccalaureat:

This is the only qualification required to enter French Univertisties. It provides a rigourous academic preparation and is internationally recognized.

The « baccalaureat » encourages you to think critically, research independently and develop ideas and judgements. As soon as you have reached a good level in French you may join 'A level' students.

The main boarding residence is situated in Meilhan sur Garonne just 100 metres from the school and provides modern and comfortable facilities.

The American School of Paris is a non-profit, independent, coeducational day school in the heart of Paris, which offers an educational program from pre-kindergarten through grade 13 for students of all nationalities. The curriculum is that of U.S. college-preparatory schools and also prepares students for the International Baccalaureate (IB). The School emphasizes the learning of French and makes extensive use of Paris and surrounding regions as curriculum resources. English is also offered for non-English-speaking students in grades K-7.

Elective courses offered in the Upper School include Advanced Placement (AP) and IB courses amongst others.
