English Language School in Limerick
Limerick Language Centre:
Limerick Language Centre is an English school located on the west coast of Ireland. We offer year-round General English courses to adults (17+) at 9 levels from Beginner to Proficiency. We also offer preparation for the IELTS and Cambridge exams as well as evening and intensive classes. Accommodation options include homestay with a local host family, student apartment, hotel or guesthouse.
Situated on Ireland's west coast, Limerick is a friendly place to study. Although it is Ireland's 3rd largest city, it has only 85,000 inhabitants. Our students tell us it is large enough to offer them everything they think is important in a big city and small enough to make them feel comfortable and at home, even on their first day.
The school is located in a lovely Georgian style house on a residential side street of Limerick, just a 3 minute walk from the main shopping area. We are a medium-sized school and so we can - and do- take an interest in each one of our students. They come to us from many different places: we currently have approximately 75 students from 4 continents representing 36 different nationalities.

English Language Ireland is a family-run English Language school that commenced business in 2000 and has progressed to its present position by developing a business model based on Total Quality Management. We offer a wide variety of English courses for general use, business purposes as well as English and work experience placement for international students. The Directors are Ruth and Terry Coffey who together have a lifetime's knowledge and experience in the area of education and care. Ruth is a fully qualified Montessori and TEFL teacher. Terry has a Master's degree in Training and Human Resource Management from Leicester University and is visiting lecturer to Carlow College, National College of Ireland and University College Cork. English Language Ireland is recognised by the Department of Education & Science for the Teaching of English as a foreign Language.
