In our program, thematic learning forms the core curriculum, with emphasis on practical life, sensorial development, social development, and creative expression. We introduce the children to a wide variety of information during the year through our monthly themes. Each theme we will also be taking a look at a different culture and educating the children about the world around them. The children are encouraged to become independent thinkers, and we aim to open their eyes to a world of discovery.

Ookayama International School (OIS) in Tokyo, Japan offers an alternative to the larger international schools in Tokyo.
