Children are supported by a qualified early childhood teacher and a qualified teacher assistant. Teachers work with children during regular hours.
Our vision is to provide learning opportunities for all children from 18 months to 6 years. The philosophy of the school is to practice educating the whole child: body, emotions, mind, and soul. We provide children with various learning experiences within the developmental domains of:
- cognitive / academic
- physical (gross/fine motor skills)
- social / emotional functioning
- communication
- creative expression
DIS assists the child to discover for himself/herself out of his/her own temperament and being the aim of life, the purpose that he/she has to play in it and to interact with various cultures, traditions, customs, and beliefs that each individual live. We provide a safe, healthy, and sufficient nurturing environment that encourages all children to explore, question, problem-solve, and be creative. We work to create an environment that is both positive and rewarding for children and their families.
