Language Workshop For Children:
Language Workshop For Children offers language immersion programs in NYC Upper East Side, West Side and SoHo. Language Workshop For Children is a place where toddlers 6 months to 3 years and children 3 to 9 years meet through a fun immersion play group to learn French, English, Spanish, Italian and Chinese. For each new session, every student receives a fresh song CD tucked into a colorful, professionally illustrated and printed Songs and More workbook to take home, practice with, and collect / keep.

- In Thibaut Technique classes kids learn naturally, not by translating.
- First they hear, then they understand, and finally they speak in that language.
The Language Workshop For Children 's Songs and More series is available exclusively through the LWFC’s Thibaut Technique® classes. Since the melodies and the words change every session, students constantly acquire and build upon their inventory of language skills.

Founded in 2004, Preschool of America opened its first school in New York City’s historic Chelsea neighborhood. Since then we have opened a total of seven centers throughout Manhattan including our center on 345 42nd street in West Midtown, and we continue to grow. Conveniently located in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, NYC, Wee Care Child Care provides child care and preschool programs for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years. Enrolling your child in day care or preschool at an early age means that you are preparing them for educational success in elementary school. Early childhood development teaches important elements associated with quality performance in school. Our teachers work on developing and modifying routines for infants, providing language development for toddlers, and teaching the fundamentals of art, math, and science for preschoolers. Developing good study skills in high school will prepare you for academic success in college. Learning how to effectively manage your time, how to prioritize your work and how to retain important information are skills that will be of huge benefit to you throughout your life.
While you still have the support of your teachers in high school, you are expected to think for yourself and to take control of your learning. Whether you're a freshman or a senior, you can improve your study habits by making a few changes to your routine. Your academic success is entirely up to you!
Try to study in quiet environments that are free from distractions - you can't concentrate effectively if you are constantly being interrupted. Have a dedicated study area at home, and use your school library also. If you have disruptive classmates, try to sit as far away from them as possible so you can focus on your teacher.
Create an efficient and realistic study schedule for yourself and stick to it. Study for blocks of 20-50 minutes and make sure you take plenty of breaks. Try to be physically active during your breaks but make sure you return to your study!

PlayWorks NYC is a pediatric therapy center in Rego Park, Queens that provides physical, occupational and speech and language therapy to children with special needs from infancy through to teenage years. We offer services in a professional, nurturing environment with highly qualified staff. We contract directly with the Department of Education, Early Intervention Agencies and accept private payment.
