Curtis School is an independent K-6 elementary school at the summit of the Santa Monica Mountains in Los Angeles, serving families in Encino, Santa Monica, Beverly Glen and surrounding communities. Lower Elementary:
The Curtis Lower Elementary offers a traditional academic curriculum beginning in Developmental Kindergarten and through Second Grade. We inspire a love of learning by providing instruction that challenges young minds and develops confidence through problem solving experiences. The Curtis Upper Elementary (grades 3-6) comprises approximately 200 students. The educational needs of the students are met by a combination of twenty-five teachers dedicated to the school's mission of providing a challenging, well-rounded educational experience. The Jewish Family Preschool and Parenting Center of Congregation Beth Sholom is located on 14th Avenue (corner of Clement Street) in San Francisco, and offers high-quality, innovative secular and Jewish education for children and their families. We provide excellent teacher to child ratios, experienced, nurturing and highly qualified staff, clergy participation in Shabbat service and other Jewish holiday celebrations, access to resources and programming of Congregation Beth Sholom, child development specialist available for individual consultation and a resource library.
