Curtis School is an independent K-6 elementary school at the summit of the Santa Monica Mountains in Los Angeles, serving families in Encino, Santa Monica, Beverly Glen and surrounding communities. Curtis is a family school of happy children, enthusiastic teachers, supportive administrators, and active parent volunteers. Working together in a warm, nurturing environment, we pursue our educational goal of "a sound mind in a sound body governed by a compassionate heart." * The core academic subjects of language arts, math, social studies and science are complemented by specialist classes in art, music or performing arts, and PE as well as a wide range of enrichment opportunities and experiences.

Technology:
Technology at Curtis is not taught as a separate discipline. Instead, students absorb technology skills by using computers in the classroom and the lab. The focus is on teaching computer concepts and skills that can be applied regardless of platform or application. The technology specialist works closely with the classroom teacher to develop lessons to support the curriculum, and teachers remain in the lab with their students during the lab sessions.

Menlo School in Menlo Park in San Mateo County, near the heart of Silicon Valley, is an accredited, independent, co-educational college preparatory day school for students in grades 6–12. Established in 1915, Menlo School offers a rigorous, engaging academic curriculum complemented by outstanding creative arts and athletics programs. Eastside College Preparatory School is an independent, co-educational, college preparatory school providing middle school & high school education in East Palo Alto in San Mateo County, CA.
