European School Of Music & Art:

The European School of Music & Art is a dynamic and growing school located in the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula, some 20 miles south of downtown Los Angeles, serving Rancho Palos Verdes, San Pedro, Torrance, Lomita, Harbor City and Carson areas with subsidiary operations in the Glendale/Burbank area and Ventura county.

The school has imaginatively created an age-appropriate curriculum of music, musical theater, foreign language, and art designed so that both the contents and the format of the lessons promote development of superior musical and artistic skills. The European School of Music & Art has employed quality, university trained teachers ever since its beginning in 1995

Location and Facilities:

The school offers a number of valuable opportunities for performance and audience exposure to all of its enrolled students. Namely, there are two bi-annual recitals (Spring and Fall Recitals) that the school organizers at which we encourage each student to participate by performing, or exhibiting some of his/her art pieces.

Typically, both the Spring and the Fall recitals have four programs each, with some 40-50 students per program performing music, or exhibiting art. That way, almost all of the school's students get a chance to perform at least twice a year.

The significance and the benefits for a student of performing in front of an audience cannot be overestimated. Besides helping build confidence, a performance at a recital helps the child deepen his/her social skills, as well as shape individuality and self-worth.

In addition to the recitals, the school organizes performances in the community in which it serves. Many of the school's students, for instance, have participated in such community enrichment events as community sponsored concerts, as well as Christmas programs at retirement homes in the area.
