The emphasis on our preschool program is to develop the whole child with the love of God and through the displaying of the Fruit of the Spirit. OKCS is proud of it’s long tradition of excellence in the K-8 program. We are accredited by both the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

Our program consists of high quality Christ-centered curriculum in all subject areas, including Bible. Our students attend chapel, computer lab, library, physical education during the week. Our staff is committed to helping your child develop a personal relationship with Christ and excel in academics, character, and service.

Middle School at Olive Knolls Christian School is a nurturing and challenging environment. Students apply the knowledge they have gained in K-5 and use it to critically think about themselves and the world around them. Middle School students attend all regular academic subjects and have computer class, physical education, art, and study hall during the week. Elective classes include Chapel Band, Silent Praise / Sticks, and Choir.

Accelerated Reader:
Accelerated Reader is a school-wide program we use as part of our reading program to encourage reading and help students build their reading level and comprehension. Each grade level has requirements for the number of AR books that must be read in a quarter, beginning in First Grade. Students love this program and as they earn points, they can come to the “AR Store” in the library and pick out prizes.

Extended Daycare:
Olive Knolls Christian School offers before and after school programs for students in Kindergarten through Sixth grade. Students have structured time for homework as well as chapel, crafts, and play time.

Student Activities:
An integral part of our K-8 program is our participation in Student Activities. Many of these are ACSI events that allow our students to shine in academic areas. Each year, OKCS Eagles participate in the following ACSI Student Activities:
