Recording and Music Technology Degree Program (60 weeks / 4 semesters):
The Media Institute is the premier college for Recording and Music Production studies. Our Recording and Music Technology program prepares students for careers in music production, pro audio jobs, and studio engineering. Recording and Music Technology students acquire the skills and competencies necessary for entry-level positions in recording engineering, pro audio, music technology, and music production fields. Graduates of this program are qualified for entry-level employment in recording studios, live sound companies, pro audio equipment companies, music technology companies, music software companies, media production companies, and as self-employed music producers or artists.

Game Art and Animation Degree Program (75 weeks / 5 semesters):
Our Game Art & Animation program prepares students for entry level positions typically found in game production studios such as Electronic Arts or Activision, and visual effects houses, television production studios, and computer animation studios such as Pixar and Dreamworks. Students develop a solid skill set in the principles of 3D computer graphics, modeling, texturing, animation, lighting, rendering, compositing, traditional art, storytelling, as well as hands on experience with a professional Motion Capture lab.

• The International School of Minnesota (ISM) provides an activity-based summer camp for students from preschool through to Grade 9.

Randy's Recording and Production, located near Cottage Grove, Madison, south-central Wisconsin, is the oldest living recording studio in the area offering instruction in music, recording, mixing, mastering, producing, stage and studio performance, and songwriting. • Founded in 1997, Language and Music for Life (LMFL) offers International Summer Music and Languages Courses in Europe for music students and professionals.

• Please note that our 2020 music camps will be held in Florence, Italy (for adults and older teens ages 18+, and highly talented families) and the UK (for adults, teens, young children). We will not now hold a music camp in France in summer 2020.


• Our classical music & jazz program and voice tuition is aimed at students and professionals who are highly motivated musicians at advanced levels. All students must be advanced level in at least one discipline, other choices can be at lower level.
