Curriculum:
Our instructors use music curriculum that assist students in gaining the skills and knowledge they need to reach their musical potential. To best serve our students, every student has a brief meeting with his/her instructor before lessons begin. This initial contact assists both the instructor and the student in getting to know the student's goals and objectives for taking online music lessons. Instructors will be able to give an initial assessment of the student's performance level and then begin to create an individualized program for each student.
Music Education for Music Teachers:
Band Directors and General Music Teachers love our classes as students receive access to world-renown musicians and music teachers - all via our simple online video conference tool. With minimal computer requirements, presentation screen and set-up, your students can experience the world of music right in their own classroom. Ideal for remote areas with limited teaching facilities and instructors, The Virtual School of Music can supplement your band classes, add to your current school curriculum, and provide lectures with handouts and quizzes - all without the cost of hiring another full-time music teacher!
Group Classes:
The Virtual School of Music can provide group instruction (6 or more students) for schools and private groups that are looking to add a music curriculum or supplement an already existing program via online instruction.
