Musicians Institute’s unique campus is located in the center of Hollywood, Los Angeles, in Southern California. We offer a wide variety of degrees and areas of concentration in the field of contemporary music. These include a Bachelor of Music degree with subjects including guitar, bass, drums, voice. audio engineering and music business programs. We also offer Associate of Arts degrees and many certificate programs. MI is a microcosm of the contemporary music industry, a place where performers, songwriters and producers rub shoulders with engineers, filmmakers and music business professionals. Professional tracking, mixing and post-production studios line the hallways next to fully-equipped performance stages, classrooms, practice rooms, audio workstations, film production and editing facilities, all running virtually around the clock. Accommodation:
Musicians Institute’s Housing Services department assists students and their parents in locating safe, comfortable, affordable and accessible off-campus housing. MI does not own or operate student housing, but Housing Services manages a vacancy listing service for housing in a variety of locations at different price levels. The Student Housing Guide provides information and assistance regarding apartment rentals, rental agreements, renters’ rights, finding roommates, budgeting for food, utilities, telephone services, where to shop, and how to get around the city. For students living in the Hollywood area, MI’s nightly Shuttle Service offers free transportation after a late night of classes, practice or rehearsal.
