Our school has over 100 years of early childhood education experience. About Us:

At First Presbyterian Preschool & Kindergarten, we believe that early childhood learning is both exciting and ongoing. We aim to create an engaging and stimulating learning environment where children’s curiosity is encouraged and their understanding of the world can be explored and expanded. We aim to balance instructive play and constructive learning in a rewarding program that values independent exploration as much as group cooperation.

Through music appreciation, art, drama, science, social studies, reading readiness, interactive math, movement education and culinary exploration, our nurturing and highly knowledgeable staff aim to fulfill each child’s wide range of interests,while laying a strong academic foundation for future learning.

Early Childhood Education Programs:

We believe that the seeds that are planted early in a child’s learning experience, must be nurtured with care and compassion.

We provide music appreciation, art, drama, science, social studies, reading readiness, interactive math, movement education and culinary exploration. We also offer a co-op parent classroom experience

* A child must be at least 2 1/2 years old by October 1st of the current school year for entrance (A health certificate is required of each child before the first day of school).

* Kindergarten enrollment age is flexible. Admission is subject to director review.

First Presbyterian Preschool & Kindergarten is a learning community, where our families bring unique ideas, talents, skills, perspectives and experiences with them when they enter. Step by Step is a family friendly dance studio offering quality dance education in Monmouth County, NJ. Dance classes are available for kids from the age of 2 1/2, teenagers and adults.
