Central New Jersey Ballet:
Located in Monmouth Junction, Middlesex County, Central New Jersey Ballet provides professional ballet training to children, teenagers and adults of all levels. We offer year-round ballet training programs, as well as intensive summer courses, group sessions and one-on-one coaching. Founded by a current professional ballet dancer, students at our ballet school work alongside professional dancers to solidify an artistic identity, find personal strength, build confidence and achieve a finely tuned technique.

Professionally-taught Ballet Classes for Young Kids, Teens and Adults

Year-round Program
The CNJ Ballet Year Round Program is designed for the more serious student that is looking to make great improvements in technique and artistry. Students are guided toward the path that will prove most beneficial and that is tailored to their needs.

Students are grouped according to their skill level. Students 10 years old and above are part of the Dancer Division. Students 9 years old and under are part of the Young Dancer Division.

Young Dancer Division (Ages 9 and under)
Younger dancers are suggested to take at least one ballet technique class. They may take any number of elective classes in order to find what is most suitable. There are 3 age groups in the Young Dancer Division

- Creative Movement (Ages 3-4)
- Pre-Ballet (Ages 5-6)
- Ballet 1 (Ages 7-9)

Dancer Division (Ages 10 and above)
- Beginner Level students must have at least one (1) Ballet Technique class. Students beginning pointe work must have permission from the ballet teacher and are required to take two (2) Ballet Technique classes followed by Pointe Technique.

- Advanced Level students must have at least two (2) Ballet Technique classes combined with Pointe Technique.

- Pre-Professional Level students must attend four (4) ballet classes. They are required to attend Pas de Deux class and Variation/Men’s Class to gain more knowledge of major ballet works.

Open Enrollment Program
CNJ Ballet offers busy students an opportunity to still make the most of their dance training. The Open Enrollment Program is designed so students will have flexibility in their schedule. This will allow them to keep improving and advancing with their training. Open Enrollment students will be directed to the classes that will fit their skill levels while also being challenging.

Intensive Summer Ballet Program
CNJB Intensive is designed for dancers who are looking to continue training during the summer and to expose dancers to different styles and techniques. The program progresses throughout a period of three weeks so students leave feeling more knowledgeable, with stronger technique and confidence that they will gain while learning variations, working with other dancers and participating in the "End of Program" performance.

Program includes:
- World renowned guest teachers and faculty
- Informative seminars on nutrition, hair and makeup, injury prevention and ballet history
- Performance opportunity
- Training in an environment and schedule that replicates the day in the life of a professional dancer
- Classes offered in: Ballet technique, Pointe, Men's Class, Pas de Deux, Character, Variations, Conditioning, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop and Repertoire

Private Ballet Coaching
CNJB Private Coaching is for dancers looking to improve their technique and physical capabilities in a one on one atmosphere. Private programs can be customized to meet individual needs and address weak points in order to produce quicker more effective results. Sessions are charged per hour and multiple session packages are available.

Competition Preparation
Dancers will be coached on variations and choreography needed to participate in various competitions. Coaching will ensure that dancers are prepared to perform at their maximum potential. It is advised that sessions be arranged weeks or months prior to competition date. 

Adult Classes
Adult Open Classes are geared toward individuals looking to stay active, while still working on their technique and artistry. The classes range from beginner to advance and will accommodate students looking to do pointe work and men's exercises. Offered in a relaxed environment, these classes are a great way to stay in shape, get back into shape or start up a new hobby.
