Per Scholas is a non-profit social venture based in New York City dedicated to using technology to improve the lives of people in low-income communities.

Operating out of locations in the Bronx, Cincinnati, Columbus, the National Capital Region and Dallas, our vocational training, computer distribution and IT training programs work together to empower men and women and help them build living-wage careers.

We offer free intensive technology training in a range of IT Certifications for adults and high school students. Courses include CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA specializations and Women in Tech.

Through the generosity of private foundations, Per Scholas is able to offer this intensive technology training without a fee attached.

All tuition, books, and materials are provided free of charge. All certifications are internationally recognized.

New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) School of Education offers a range of Teacher and Administrator Education Degree & Certificate programs from our two main New York campuses (Old Westbury and Manhattan), and at several partnership sites in the New York metropolitan region. In addition, some courses and programs are offered online or using state-of-the-art videoconferencing.

The School was officially formed in 1991 and was built on a foundation of programs in teacher education and educational technology that existed at NYIT since the early 1970's.
