Italian Courses for Children:
Italian For Tots 6 Months to 3 Years:
6M-3Y, 45 Minutes with Parent/Caregiver.
Capture a child’s prime time to learn a new language. Tots magically absorb a new language through stimulating Thibaut-style interaction, songs, and language immersion.
Italian For Children:
3-9Y, 1, 1 ½ or 2 Hours. Separation.
Vocal, animated and fun, these play-filled language immersion classes are exciting for kids so they really learn.
Italian Immersion Preschool:
2.10-4Y 2 ½ Hours, Separation.
Students attend Language Immersion Family Preschool with a parent or caregiver. The first 45-minutes of Language Immersion Family Preschool offers an age appropriate Tots structured play class filled with enriching activities including arts and crafts, original LWFC vocabulary-building songs, visual aid games and more.
The second 45-minutes offers traditional Preschool activities that develop fundamental early childhood skills such as self-confidence, imagination, reasoning, listening, creativity, socialization and motor coordination. The Family Language Immersion Preschool promotes a child's general development while expanding their command of a new language.
Varying activities, such as story-telling, music, drawing, arts and crafts, blocks, counting, movement, mime, free play, organized play, reading, snack-time and clean-up foster children's emotional, social, and intellectual development. Many parents tell us that they choose Family Preschool to enjoy their child's company for just a little while longer.
Italian Summer Program:
3-9Y, 2 ½ Hours, Separation.
In the LWFC’s Summer Camp-Like Enrichment Program 3 to 9 years old expand their French, Spanish, Chinese or Italian through language immersion fun, costume days, baking, arts and crafts, theme days, birthday parties and more! And because they are being immersed and acquiring a new language naturally, youngsters start thinking in it, building sentences, and speaking in it. Best of all, flexible summer scheduling lets kids come and go and accommodates family vacations.

Based in New York City, Amigos de las Américas (AMIGOS) is an international, not-for-profit organization that provides summer abroad, service learning programs for high school and college students. Located in the heart of NYC on Manhattan's Upper East Side, Collina Italiana is an Italian Language school that offers year-round Italian language and culture programs to kids ages 2-12. All of our language programs provide comprehensive language learning and hands-on instruction in the arts to children. Our Teatro Italiano and Make an Italian Show programs offer language instruction through drama classes where children can bring their stories on stage. Collina Italiana also offers classes to adults.Courses include age-specific Girotondo Toddlers classes where an experienced instructor provides opportunities for kids to learn Italian through play and activities. Hills Learning is a language school centrally located in Manhattan, NYC (right beside Grand Central Station). We offer Mandarin Chinese language programs for kids, teenagers and adults which combine fun and interactive language activities with quality Chinese language instruction. Our theory is you can't learn language without culture, and you don't learn anything if it's not fun.
We offer group Mandarin Chinese classes which are held at the Hills Learning center. Private Chinese lessons can be held throughout the five boroughs of New York City (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx and Staten Island) as well as in parts of Connecticut and New Jersey.
Our teachers are available to do lessons at the child’s home, just as long as a parent or legal guardian is present. We also offer online Chinese classes.
