Day School Programs for Boys & Girls in Pre-K through Grade 8:

Early Childhood Program (Ages 3-5)
At Beacon, we know that young children learn best from their own actions in the world around them. We provide an appropriately structured and nurturing program for children ages 3 through 5 to learn through play and free exploration with a rich array of materials. Our teachers understand child development and will build upon what your child brings to the classroom to prepare him or her for what comes next.

Our aim is to:
- Encourage them to create and to express themselves
- Teach them how to be with others cooperatively

Elementary School Program (Grades 1-5)
Beginning in kindergarten, elementary students’ reach a developmental level that makes them want to learn how to "do it all." Throughout elementary school, students are developing concrete skills – reading, writing, speaking, listening, computation and problem solving, creating and expressing.

Middle School Program (Grades 6-8)
Beacon's Middle School program engages the emerging new abilities and social interests of young adolescents, grades 6 through 8. Our Middle School creates new academic and social connections between students, teachers, curriculum and life experiences, relating learning in real ways to students’ lives. Our graduates are not afraid to ask questions or seek better solutions because they know they possess the keys to go after what they need, in high school and beyond.
