Oxford Scholastica Academy:
Based on the prestigious campus of Oxford University, the Oxford Scholastica Academy provides 2 and 4 week academic courses to bright and talented students (aged 15-18) from the UK and around the world. This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to experience what it’s like to study at a leading university.

We offer comprehensive programmes in a range of subjects - from Enterprise to Leadership, Creative Writing to Shakespeare, Young Doctors to Law, Computer Science to Maths - and more. All students who successfully complete the course will be given an Oxford Scholastica Academy Certificate.

At the Oxford Scholastica Academy you’ll explore a subject and discover a career, preparing you for university, professions and life. Trips to London and Windsor Castle are included. We have limited spaces still left for summer 2014 and would welcome applications from Learn4Good students.

The OSA team and tutors studied at Oxford University, and were so inspired by the city that they set up the Academy to give other young people the opportunity to experience life at Oxford. You'll get to live on the Oxford University campus, replicating the typical student experience.

Students can study one course over two weeks, or study two courses over four weeks.

Our Tutors
We source the finest tutors (most of whom teach at Oxford University), hand-pick the best staff and work hard to give our students the most amazing time. In short, we aim to give our students a life-transforming summer experience. You won't just be sitting in the classroom - our Learn, See, Do approach to teaching means you'll be doing exciting Challenges where you put you learning into practice, and meeting our Heroes, young professionals who have studied your subject and gone on to great things.

You'll get to experience independent living by staying in your own room on the Oxford University campus. Our accommodation is at St Thomas’s, a modern annex in the heart of Oxford. You’ll be living like a university student, with your very own bedroom and bathroom.

St Thomas’s is owned by St Peter’s College, one of the 38 colleges of Oxford University. During their second and third years, many students at Oxford live in their college’s annex accommodation in various places around Oxford.

Our accommodation includes kitchens, for you to make tea/coffee and meals if you wish, as well as a common room with TV and games, plus a terrace which is great to relax on in the evening as the sun goes down.

During your time with us you'll get to experience all the best culture and activites that Oxford has to offer. From visiting the beautiful Oxford colleges to watching an outdoor Shakespeare play and sampling the local museums.
It's not all work at the Oxford Scholastica Academy! In the afternoon and evening activities you'll get to learn how to punt on the river Thames (and old Oxford tradition), experience the Oxford Scholastica Olympics, visit local student institution the ice cream cafe G&Ds, and play football and frisbee. There will also be free time to shop or to relax with your friends.

You'll also get to travel to London (visiting the London Eye, Houses of Parliament and Shakespeare's Globe Theatre) and to Windsor Castle (the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world, and the Official Residence of Her Majesty The Queen), as well as Eton College (school of the Princes and one of the most famous schools in the world).

You can choose to study one course over two weeks:

- Two weeks (one course): Sunday 20th July to Saturday 2nd August 2014 (3,595 GBP)

Many of our students choose to join us for four weeks, in which case you get to choose two courses to study:
