Courses include intensive and general French, exam preparation courses for university entrance and for TCF (Test de Connaissance du Français), French for au pair students, French and culture courses, French and horseriding, French and cookery, French for seniors.

Classes are based on grammar, communication and role playing games in French. We offer real cultural exchanges in real life situations. Those who have chosen the International Institute of Rambouillet have found that they have improved far beyond their expectations. The International Institute is based only 30 minutes from Paris, in the center of Rambouillet a historical and typical French city which offers all sorts of activities including horse riding, cycling, swimming, roller skating, cooking and golf.

I never forget that the main goal of learning a new language is communication. I respect the recommandation of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for languages) which describes what a learner, at each level, is supposed to be able to do in reading, listening, speaking and writing. Oral communication is a priority. It doesn't mean that we ignore the grammar!

So that you can be completely independent, I also offer a self-learning program on the Internet which means you can continue to learn and train anywhere, whenever you want.

Home stays are available all year round and suitable for students of any age and level. Learning French with Maryse will ensure that you make tremendous progress within a short period of time.

Speaking French and only French will help you to acquire an authentic accent, develop your self-confidence and enjoy a real fluency in the language.

The course is designed to meet your own needs, at your own pace in a very small group (1-3 students). The mornings are dedicated to the 4-hour class (22 hours per week) and your local guide, Maryse, will take you on excursions twice a week in the afternoon.
