Located in Rambouillet, 44 km (27 miles) southwest of Paris in the Yvelines department in the Île-de-France in north-central France, Institut International de Rambouillet, as part of the Planète Langues group, offers French courses with up to 30 hours of instruction a week and full board accommodation. Intensive French:
Our very intense 30 hour a week schedule will leave you with unforgettable moments and memories.
* The classes take place in the morning from 9 am to 1pm and from 2pm to 4 pm.
* In the afternoon classes you can choose between lessons and workshops. We can organize private lessons if you need to prepare for a specific field (commercial,university entrance exam).
Your French skills will be tested on arrival (you can
get the written test at home by mail) and then you go through an interview with one of our french teacher, he /she will decide what your level is , and your needs. Then you will join the most appropriate group.
We have 6 or 7 different levels : from A1 to C1
At the end of your stay you get a certificate defining your level, skills and special comments from your teachers. You can also choose to take the TCF exam before you leave (4 week of each month) to get an official certificate from the French ministry.
Exam Preparation for University Entrance and TCF:
If preparing an exam (a school/university entrance or a professional interview) is your objective we offer a flexible formula, combining group and individual classes.
20 hours of course as part of a group in order to refresh your French language skills and knowledge and to practice this in an interactive manner, 5 hours of individual class to evolve and correct your weak points and finally, 2 workshops of to hours to complete your knowledge in a particular domain.

French for Seniors:
For seniors over 50, learning a language includes discovering a new culture, a new way of life and share friendly moments, meeting authentic people. The International Institute propose suitable programmes over a week or two.Every afternoon we propose the different activities or excursions or different kinds of leisure activities.
French and Culture:
It combines advantageously a linguistic programme of 20 hours (full hours), and a programme aiming at discovering and enjoying French culture.
Here is a list of activities we can offer:
* Visiting historical spots: Versailles, visits of Paris according to different themes (sightseeing Paris and history, Paris and Arts, Paris and its curiosities, le château de Breteuil, Maintenon and its château, Chartres and its cathedral
* Discovering: visit of a mill (making bread),visit of a chocolate factory, the bergerie nationale, Espace Rambouillet (discovering the forest and wildlife)
* Gastronomy: discovering French wines,the snails farm,cheese tasting at the farm “ la ferme des 3 ponts”
* Arts :Giverny “the impressionists”, Auvers sur Oise, the museum d’Orsay, a visit to Montmartre
* Cookery workshops: preparing a typical recipe of a french region
* Walking or cycling on special roads / paths if you are nature lover

French Immersion is a French language school situated in the countryside in a small and peaceful hamlet (rural settlement) on Belle-Île-en-Mer, a French island off the coast of Brittany in the departement of Morbihan in the north-west of France, 14 km from the Quiberon peninsula. We are located 5 km from the harbour (Le Palais) and 4 km from the village of Locmaria (one of the four communes of Belle Île). It is 45 minutes by ferry from Quiberon to Le Palais.French Immersion provides year-round French language homestay packages for individuals or groups for all levels from beginners to advanced. Students stay with their teacher while learning the French language. The teacher, Michel, has been teaching French Literature and French as a second language, since 1982.
Beautiful sandy beaches and wild coast with magnificient cliffs are within easy reach of our school. Our students stay in "l'écurie", annex to the main house, which has just been renovated and includes a bedroom and a private bathroom.
