We offer a full range of Italian courses, including intensive and general Italian classes and preparation for the CELI and CILS examinations.

Special Interest classes with a local flavor are also available and include topics such as Roman architecture, Business Italian or Italian cooking. After class, practice your Italian skills in the language lab, do homework in the student lounge or grab a snack in the student café. You’ll find EF Rome in a charming 19th century town house where you can soak up the history of this great city. You’re just steps from the central railway station and transportation to every area of the city. In Rome, you have the option of living with a host family or in an apartment.

Our flexible programs begin each Monday and offer Basic, General and Intensive language courses as well as exam preparation, internship and volunteer opportunities. We offer accommodation, full school support and daily activities allowing students to put their new language skills to use and gain an international perspective.

Study Italian and explore the magic of Italy’s capital city. Marvel at the Colosseum and throw a coin in Trevi Fountain. See the Palatine Hill, where Rome was founded, and the Pantheon, the city’s most complete ancient structure, finished in 125A.D. After your ltalian courses have finished for the day, climb the Spanish Steps and then shop the exclusive stores on nearby Via Condotti or head to the Vatican to marvel at the Sistine Chapel’s recently restored frescos. On warm summer evenings, practice your Italian while enjoying a delicious gelato in an outdoor café on the Piazza Navona.

Our Italian courses in Italy allow you to learn about the local culture through the ultimate insider experience. While living in a homestay, you’ll have the chance to practice your Italian in a relaxed family setting. A double room is usually included in the package price of the course.
