Co-ed Christian Boarding High School Programs (Grades 9-12) Academics:
Since 1872, the Seventh-day Adventist educational system has focused on educating the "whole person" while teaching young people not only to excel academically, but to develop healthy bodies and a strong spiritual lives. Because we are a small school, our classroom sizes are smaller where students can receive more personal attention by the teachers and better preparation for college and future accomplishments.
According to Cognitive Genesis, a four-year study following 30,000 students enrolled in Seventh-day Adventist schools across North America, our students score a half-grade level higher in all subjects, but the longer they attend an Adventist school, the more their average achievement jumps - up to the 73rd percentile.
TAA offers a standard diploma (240 credits minimum) and a college-preparatory diploma (280 credits minimum).
The college prep program requires 4 years of English, religion, mathematics or science, 3 years of math or science, history, physical education, 2 years of modern language, fine arts, practical arts, and electives.
