Activities and Programs
:
The overall goal of our program is to provide early learning experiences that nurture the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and social development of young children. We know this goal can be reached when children are given opportunities for hands-on, active experiences that are developmentally appropriate. We further believe that children develop best when these experiences occur in an atmosphere of unconditional Christian love, care, and respect. Therefore we offer the following in our program:

- Activities that aid the development of children’s large and small motor skills
- Experiences that allow children to explore God’s world, to solve problems, and to express feelings
- An environment that fosters development of initiative, self-control, and selfconfidence
- Opportunities for children to learn through play and to develop socially as they interact with one another and with adults
- Teachers who recognize the individuality of each child’s abilities and needs

Included in our preschool curriculum will be music, math, science, art, language arts, and physical education. Afternoons will include lunch time and outdoor play, followed by a “rest period.”

Music Program:
Grace places a strong emphasis on students getting many opportunities to praise their Lord through song. Psalm 95:1-2 “Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.” With this in mind, every student gets the opportunity to be in a classroom choir which sings in church three five times every year.
