Madrid PLUS is a private school offering year-round Spanish language courses. Our school is located on la Calle Arenal (Arenal Road) in the centre of the city, two minutes from the Puerta del Sol, known as "kilometer 0" of Spain. We opened in 1990 and have received since then over 2,000 students from all over the world.

Madrid-Barajas Airport is located just 9 km (5.6 miles) from the city's financial district and 13 km (8.1 miles) north-east of the Puerta del Sol.


Location and Facilities:

 

The main part of the school is on the top floor and has excellent views. From here one can watch the comings and goings of Madrid life and it provides the necessary tranquility required for studying.

From our roof terraces one can see the Plaza Mayor, the Palacio Real, the Plaza de España and the roofs of the historical part of city. More than 300m2, distributed on 7 classrooms, a cafeteria, a video room and two splendid terraces providing space for students from all over the world to mix and chat or sunbath!

The school facilities include television, video and e-mail services. There is also a rest-room with a vending machine selling refreshments such as sodas, coffee and tea.

El Rincón del Tándem stems from the idea to provide personalized Spanish courses, aimed both at those people who want to learn Spanish from scratch and those who want to improve their previous knowledge of the language.

The school provides group courses (Intensive, Standard, Part-time, etc.) as well as private lessons.  Besides, the school organizes social and cultural activities where students can practice the language in informal contexts, discover the city, learn about arts and culture, get familiar with local traditions, etc.

Our classrooms are mixed-age and our student groups are small (from 4 to 8 students per group). That allows us to provide a more personalized teaching and to boost a closer relation between students and teachers.
