Centro Panamericano de Idiomas (CPI), is a Spanish immersion language institution in Costa Rica in Central America. CPI is the only Spanish immersion school in Costa Rica with campuses in three diverse regions of the country, with the same quality service: CPI Monteverde, CPI Heredia and CPI Flamingo. CPI Monteverde is located in the rural region of Monteverde, which is a 3-hour bus ride from San José. CPI Heredia is located in San Joaquín de Flores, a suburb of Heredia and is just a 30-minute drive from San José. CPI Flamingo is located in Flamingo, a beautiful Pacific coastal town in the province of Guanacaste, a 5 hr bus ride from San José.

Costa Rican Language Academy, CRLA, has been providing high quality Spanish language instruction along with an authentic Latin American cultural experience since 1989. CRLA is completely owned and operated by Costa Ricans. All our professors have university degrees as well as ample training and experience. The Spanish school in Manuel Antonio , Costa Rica was started in 1992 and is today recognized as one of the best Spanish language schools in Costa Rica. In addition to offering excellent Spanish language programs, you will be hard pressed to find a more beautiful location within Costa Rica. The school itself sits on the side of a mountain overlooking the Manuel Antonio Beach Park Area and the Pacific. Classrooms are comfortable, and are situated both inside the building and outside on the comfortable patio. This school is the perfect option for those who want to get away from to the beaches and natural parks of Costa Rica, while at the same time learning Spanish.
When students arrive at the Spanish school in Manuel Antonio, they are given an oral proficiency interview to determine their level. Based on this interview, they are placed tentatively in one of six levels. Once placed in a class, students will experience the schools' total immersion methodology. Classes are conducted completely in Spanish. The school uses custom designed curriculum and text materials.
Group Classes: 4 lessons per day in class sizes of no more than 6 individuals. Average class size ranges from 4-8 students. During four lessons sessions, students participate actively in a small group environment. Each student is assured attention to their individual academic needs. If total immersion becomes a difficulty, we offer supplemental instruction in English once a week in order to clarify any doubts.
