Centro Panamericano de Idiomas (CPI), is a Spanish immersion language institution in Costa Rica in Central America. CPI is the only Spanish immersion school in Costa Rica with campuses in three diverse regions of the country, with the same quality service: CPI Monteverde, CPI Heredia and CPI Flamingo. CPI Monteverde is located in the rural mountainous region of Monteverde, which includes ten towns and is a 3-hour bus ride from San José. CPI Heredia is located in San Joaquín de Flores, a suburb of Heredia and is just a 30-minute drive from San José. CPI Flamingo is located in Flamingo, a beautiful Pacific coastal town in the province of Guanacaste, a 5 hr bus ride from San José.
Buses travel daily to and from Monteverde at 6:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Excellent bus service provides transportation from San Joaquín to both Heredia and San José. In Flamingo, public buses leave the capital daily at 8:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 3:00 p.m. The private shuttle service that CPI uses, leaves San José for Flamingo every Sunday around 10:00 a.m.
