Teaching Methods:
For the last twenty years, TLC has been working on simple, yet effective ways to convey its knowledge of Spanish and the Latin culture.

We have developed a multi-level programme geared to teach or increase conversational skills and vocabulary. The initial sessions are designed to demystify the complexities of learning another language. The main objective is to get the student to attain a solid pronunciation and to gain confidence when conversing. The following lessons are for those who want to take their learning a little further. New verb tenses and vocabulary are introduced along with a stronger emphasis on conversation.

Aside from teaching, I also offer the following services: Commercial voice-overs and audiobook production.

What sets our courses apart from anyone else's...? We focus on flexibility and on setting a relaxed and casual environment. The pace is set by the student. These items have proven to be of extreme importance in the learning process.

A session is two hours in length, when it is in-person. Homework is given at the end of every session and reviewed at the beginning of the following class. Handouts are provided as the lessons take place.

Another important difference is the "Pay-As-You-Go" system. You do not have to commit  to any period of time. You never pay for lessons you do not take!

In person sessions take place in St. Catharines and are two hours in length. Online sessions are one hour in length and there is no limit as to where the student may be!
