Location and Facilities:
The school is situated in a beautiful 19th-century building overlooking Via Pietro Micca in the historic city centre.
Three minutes from the school you can find Piazza Castello, Turin's beating heart, with the Royal Palace where once the Savoy, Italy's royal family used to live and govern. From here you can visit many important museums as the Egyptian Museum, the Mole Antonelliana with the National Museum of Cinema.
Though Turin is known as an industrial city, there are many green areas and possibility to make excursion to Turin's hillside, to the Alps and to the Langhe, where the Barolo, Italy's most famous wine is produced. The River Po with its green areas is an ideal place to relax warm summer days.
The school itself has ample spaces where students spend their time during the daily coffee break and where they can meet for the afternoon activities organized by the school. The classrooms are also spacious and bright.

Learn Italian in the heart of Rome, Italy with Koiné - Italian Language Centre! We provide Italian language courses for foreigners, including intensive Italian courses, CELI exam preparation, private Italian lessons and corporate Italian training for professionals / companies. Founded in 1995, Accademia del Giglio is a private Italian language and culture school based in Florence in the Tuscany region of Italy, approximately 3 hours north of Rome. Our courses are specifically aimed at helping international students to gain proficiency in the Italian language, understand the many aspects of Italian culture and acquire artistic skills.The school places considerable emphasis on the quality of its teaching. All our teachers have a degree from an approved Italian university, are native Italian speakers who can also speak English and / or French, and have at least 4 years’ teaching experience.
