What We Offer at Moreton Hall:

- Nursery School:
The nursery at Moreton Hall facilitates children from 2 yrs, 8 months to 4 yrs of age.

- Pre-Prep School:
In this department the curriculum is structured into a four-year course which provides a sound basis for the next stage of schooling.

- Prep School:
The Prep School is formed of Years 3 through to 8 (and we call them Transition, then Forms 4,5,6,7 and 8).

- Boarding School:
We have a well-established boarding facility for boys and girls. We also offer an overseas boarding programme for our overseas students. Boarding may be ‘full', “weekly” or on a “flexible” nightly basis.

Our Religious Identity:

Our religious identity endorses the key values of not only right and wrong, but forgiveness too. Exploring depends on being prepared to get lost sometimes, but having the courage not to stay that way. Whilst Catholicism offers Moreton Hall its compass, we are a community of more than one faith and a common purpose.

Our Ethos:

There are three qualities which exemplify Moreton Hall: caring, sharing and daring. Caring represents us thinking of others, sharing means working together and helping each other, and daring encourages us to grow through challenging ourselves. Our ethos is realised in all sorts of ways: from the daily spontaneous game of football involving boys and girls, older children and younger, to all our food being prepared by hand from fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

One thing we hope is just as distinctive a part of our ethos is the value Moreton Hall places on being a family school. Our parents are invited not just to matches and prize-giving, but to mass, assemblies and a wealth of social events.

Rochester Independent College, Kent
Courses / Programs
Rochester Independent College, in the County of Kent, just east of London, offers a distinctive alternative to a conventional sixth form and a stepping stone between school and university.

Established in 1984, we accept day students from the age of 11. Boarding is available for A-level students and Year 11 students on GCSE courses who are aged 16 or older.

Students come to us from all over the UK and the world, as well as the local area. There are no bells ringing, no uniforms and everybody is on first name terms. The College has an atmosphere closer to university than school where students are treated as young adults.

About 65 of the College's 280 students are boarders. Our Halls combine the informality of a university residence with the supervision and pastoral support appropriate for young adults.

The College offers students the opportunity to thrive in an atmosphere of managed independence and acts as a stepping stone between school and university.

Our focus is on examination success in a lively, supportive and informal atmosphere. Students are encouraged to be themselves and achieve exam results that often exceed their expectations. Rochester Independent College is accredited by the ISC (Independent Schools Council).
