ISE Hove:
ISE Hove English Language School is situated in the town of Hove on the south coast of England. Hove is located immediately to the west of the city of Brighton, and is only 75kms (50 minutes drive) south of London, making it easily accessible for international travellers. We offer a range of English language courses to students from around the world, including General English, IELTS exam preparation, Business English and more. We teach students of all levels of English - from beginner to advanced. In addition to our English courses for adults, we offer year-round English and Activity courses for groups of young adults and children as well as summer English courses for individual children.

English Language Courses in Hove:
With many routes to achieving success in English, choosing the right course and exam is an important decision to take. Courses start on any Monday, although students preparing for IELTS and FCE Examination courses are advised to start at least 12 weeks before their desired exam date.

Classes are from 9:15am to 12:30am (morning slot), 1:30pm to 4:45pm (afternoon slot) and 6:00pm to 9:15pm (evening slot). Class times include a 15-minute break, to be taken at the discretion of the teacher.

General English Classes:
General English classes are designed for students of all levels who wish to study English intensively and make recognised progress in speaking, reading, writing, listening and grammar. We teach General English at seven levels from beginner to advanced. 

For General English classes there is a minimum age of 16 for our adult classes and a minimum age of 8 for our Young ISE (children) classes. You will take a placement test on arrival to determine your level of English and will then be placed in the class that best suits your needs. For all classes at ISE, there is a maximum class size of up to 20 students.

Business English Classes:
These classes focus on both written and spoken Business English skills in fields including Travel & Tourism, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Hotel & Catering, Corporate Strategy and Innovation. Students practice and develop interview and telephone skills, taking examples from real life business scenarios together with useful business language for meetings, sales, presentations, negotiations and deals. includes a comprehensive range of business documentation and situational language. 

Our Business English classes lead to LCCI (London Chamber of Commerce & Industry) exams. LCCI English for Business is an internationally recognized qualification and useful for anyone wanting to work in business or commerce.

Business English Diploma:
The ISE Diploma in Business English is designed for students who have studied to general degree level in their own country but lack the academic qualifications for direct entry onto a master's degree programme in the broad area of Business . Equally, it is also necessary to improve their academic study skills, business terminology,and their English, so that they can cope well on a master's degree the following year.

IELTS Exam Preparation:
The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) exam is a measure of your ability to communicate in English across all four language skills (listening, reading, writing and speaking). It is intended for people who intend to study or work where English is the language of communication and is a requirement for non-native English speakers to enter a British University. IELTS has now been granted approval for use in the UK's new points-based immigration system.

IELTS classes at ISE will be delivered to learn specific exam techniques and can be integrated into your existing study timetable. This way, you'll be able to improve your level of English whilst preparing for the IELTS exam at the same time. Exams are held in locally 2 to 3 times every month in the summer and once a month all other times. We have an excellent record of success for our students in the IELTS exam.

Cambridge FCE Exam Preparation:
The FCE (First Certificate in English) exam is an upper-intermediate level exam for people who can use everyday written and spoken English and is intended to show the proficiency of those who use English for work or study purposes.

Cambridge CAE Exam Preparation:
The CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) exam is a high-level English language test to show the proficiency of students who need to use English for professional and academic success. It is intended for students who can
use English confidently and flexibly for business or study purposes and can produce well-structured, clear pieces of writing on complex issues.

Private English Lessons:
Private classes are important for people with specific targets, or who need expert teachers in specialist subject areas such as Business English or Legal English. Classes can be held at ISE school or in the comfort of your office. Individual tuition English is available on request starting with an assessment, then a programme structured to the needs of the student.

Pre-University Diploma Course:
ISE offer a 12 to 48 week Pre-University Diploma which consists of a mixture of General English, Academic English and IELTS Examination Preparation. This course is designed to give students the skills to survive at University at Undergraduate, Masters or Doctoral level.

English and Computing Diploma:
For students that need to develop fluency in English, ISE offer 12, 24, 36 and 48 week programmes of combined Computer Studies and English. Students can choose from a range of modules to compliment their studies in English including CISCO Computer Training; ORACLE Database Training; Adobe Photoshop; HTML / CSS among many others.

Summer English Courses for Young Learners (ages 8 - 16):
Young Learners Courses at ISE offer a complete package of study, accommodation, activities, visits and sports. Courses run for up to 12 weeks, allowing youngsters the chance to make friends from all over the world.
