Our 10-day in-class TESOL Foundation Course is part one of our two-part TESOL Certificate and Diploma Programs. During this “intensive-accelerated” in-class course, you will learn the theoretical and practical TESOL skills to use in the English classroom, and have the opportunity to practice them.
Advanced TESOL Certificate (120 hours)
This course will provide you with the industry standard credential required to teach conversational English. Become TESOL Certified to “Travel and Teach English Worldwide” with confidence and skill. This program consists of 2 courses - the Foundation TESOL course and 1 specialization course.
Professional TESOL Certificate (240 hours)
This course provides a greater depth of knowledge in the TESOL profession which translates into more opportunities and higher paying positions. It consists of 4 courses - the Foundation TESOL course and 3 specialization courses.
TESOL Diploma Courses:
Advanced TESOL Diploma (360 hours)
This diploma is an achievement of “Academic Excellence” and results in more employment opportunities in higher level positions. It consists of 6 courses - the Foundation TESOL course and 5 specialization courses.

Get TEFL certified in Costa Rica! Located in the charming suburb of San Pedro, the TEFL training center is only ten minutes by car from the center of San Jose. The neighborhood features a nice blend of residential and commercial venues, with restaurants, shops and the University of Costa Rica nearby. The school has eight teaching rooms, a computer area featuring six computers and WiFi, and a nice snack bar serving complimentary coffee and tea daily. The facilities and computers are open seven days a week, including holidays.
International TEFL and TESOL Training (ITTT) offers a four-week TEFL certificate course in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. Manuel Antonio is located on the central Pacific coast, just south of the city of Quepos in Puntarenas province, and 132 km from the national capital of San Jose. Our TEFL certification program provides participants with an internationally recognized certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
The course is externally validated and moderated by the BOAA (Board of Academic Advisors), and has a very practical emphasis and features a high proportion of actual teaching practice hours in the classroom.
Teachers are assessed on their understanding and practical application of the course content through teaching practice and the compilation of a teaching journal. These two are assessed separately but the final grade awarded amalgamates both sets of grades with a slight weighting towards teaching practice.
