To teach English to non-native speakers, you need a recognised qualification validated by an international examinations board. Recognised by the British Council, The Trinity CertTESOL is accredited at Level 5 on the National Qualifications Framework (the NQF) by the Qualifications and Curriculum Development Agency (QCDA) in England.

In addition, it is registered with the Hong Kong Council for Academic Accreditation as a course leading to a Non-local Higher Qualification.

Who Can Take This Course?
Our TESOL course is designed for those with limited or no experience of teaching English, but is also useful for those who have some experience but need to acquire a formal qualification. We welcome students of all ages and levels of experience.

While you do not need to be a native English speaker, you do need to be able to demonstrate a high level of English language skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

Trinity Certificate in TESOL (Trinity CertTESOL):

130-hour course offered as an intensive full-time course (4 weeks) or part-time (3 months)

In this course, you will cover subjects including teaching methodology, skills teaching, lesson observation, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and error correction. In addition, trainee teachers are taught how to effectively use resources such as textbooks, audio visual aids, and supplementary materials. The practical component of the course consists of lesson preparation, teaching practice and feedback.
