TESL Diploma Course:
Offered full-time (4 weeks) or part-time (10 weeks)
Whether you want to teach English in Canada or abroad, the TESL Canada Diploma program is the perfect choice to meet all your teaching goals. Designed to provide a balance between practical and theoretical learning, it complies to international standards which require 100 hours of in-class training and a 20 hour practicum. You will learn all the skills necessary for preparing and conducting an English class at any level and under a variety of conditions, quickly and effectively. Students will receive a great amount of teaching practice during the program and will be able to observe our ESL classes during the day. Full job assistance is provided after graduation.
Course Schedule:
- Our full-time course is very intensive and we recommend that students have no other work or personal commitments during this time. It takes place Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:00pm for 4 weeks, with teaching practice to be completed outside of the course time.
- Our part-time program is ideal for those who also need to attend to work or personal commitments while they are training. Following the same syllabus as the 4 week schedule, classes are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6pm to 9:30pm for 10 weeks.

One-week introductory course
This course aims to show you whether teaching English is right for you before you commit to a full program. Delivered over five days and totalling 30 actual classroom hours, this course aims to equip new teachers with the skills necessary to survive in the classroom. It also includes observed teaching practice.
This course aims to provide a grounding in ELT methodology, language analysis and teaching practice. It includes observation of experienced teachers and approximately one hour of teaching practice with foreign students.
