Our Certificate Courses are designed for individuals who desire to teach English internationally or locally.
Our industry standard programs are popular for anyone ready for a life-changing year or two abroad.
The first step towards your Global TESOL College Certificate starts with our Foundation course. Though this can be completed online or through correspondence we recommend the in-class course to better prepare you for the classroom.
Once you’ve finished our Foundation course, you must complete at least one of our 16 Specialization courses in order to obtain our basic certificate, the Advanced TESOL Certificate.
You attain a higher Certificate or Diploma by simply completing more Specialization courses.
Depending on the number of Specialization courses you complete, you can obtain one of the Certificates or Diplomas listed below.
TESOL Foundation Certificate:

- 60 Hours
- Foundation TESOL Course (In-Class)
In-Class TESOL Foundation Course Components:
- 32 hours of in-class instructor-led lecture and teacher training
- 8 hours of out-of-class creative lesson planning, presentation preparation, readings, and exercises during the week of the course
- 20 hours of readings to be completed as well as after the course at student's convenience
- 32 + 8 + 20 = 60 Hours of Study
- TESOL Foundation Certificate is awarded at the end of the in-class course
Advanced TESOL Certificate:
For solid credentials and more employment flexibility… A greater depth of knowledge in the TESOL Profession translates into more opportunities and higher paying positions.

- 120 Hours
- Foundation TESOL Course (In-Class) + 1 Specialization Course (Online)
In-Class TESOL Foundation Course Components:
- 32 hours of in-class instructor-led lecture and teacher training
- 8 hours of out-of-class creative lesson planning, presentation preparation, readings, and exercises during the week of the course
- 20 hours of readings to be completed as well as after the course at student's convenience
- 32 + 8 + 20 = 60 Hours of Study
- TESOL Foundation Certificate is awarded at the end of the in-class course
- The 60-Hour Specialization course are to be completed either online or by correspondence
Advanced TESOL Diploma:
For more lucrative and prestigious employment opportunities. The Advanced TESOL Diploma is an achievement of "Academic Excellence" with more employment options in higher level positions.
