The University of Bridgeport, Graduate Studies and Research Division located in Bridgeport, Connecticut, offers several interdisciplinary graduate programs within the Colleges of Business, Engineering and Education & Human Resources. We provide a range of Masters and Doctoral programs in engineering, business & technology fields including Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, and more.
Graduate Programs in Engineering, Business & Technology
The inter-disciplinary graduate concentrations may be incorporated into the graduate programs offered by the Colleges of Business, Engineering and/or Education & Human Resources or embedded within a dual graduate degree program.
Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering
Ours will be the first engineering Ph.D. program in Fairfield County, and the only one in Connecticut, that will accommodate the scheduling needs of part-time students by making all coursework available in the evening.
M.S. in C.S. (Computer Science)
The Master’s Degree in Computer Science is intended to prepare individuals with a strong mathematical, scientific, or technical background for entry into the computer science field at an advanced level and for further study leading to the doctorate.
M.S. in CpE (Computer Engineering)
The Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering is a course of study intended to prepare individuals whose undergraduate background is in computer or electrical engineering for advanced professional work in the field and for further study leading to the doctorate. Emphasis is placed on current state-of-the-art applications including parallel computing, image processing, VLSI design, sensing, robotics, mobile computing, automation and the like.
M.S. in E.E. (Electrical Engineering)
This Program is designed to increase the student’s knowledge and competence in basic areas necessary for Modern Electrical Engineering, while affording sufficient freedom to allow an in-depth study of such areas as Communications, Control Systems, Electronics and Digital Processing.
M.S. in M.E. (Mechanical Engineering)
This degree program provides advanced study in traditional and contemporary Mechanical Engineering fields. The traditional concentration areas permits the student to increase his/her knowledge and competence in basic skills necessary to Mechanical Engineering while affording sufficient freedom to provide in-depth study in such areas as solid mechanics, structural dynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, mechanical design and computational methods.
M.S. in T.M. (Technology Management)
The Technology Management Master's Program is designed to develop leaders adept at managing technology dependent organizations, technological change, and skilled in establishing and maintaining superior competitive advantage for their respective enterprises. It is essential that an enterprise continually develops, sources and/or applies, the latest technology for products, services, processes and systems.
MBA (Masters of Business Administration)
Welcome to the opportunity to earn an outstanding Internationally recognized MBA in General Administration with the option to earn a concentration by taking a few additional courses.

M.S. in MSIT (Masters of Science in Instructional Technology)
The goals of the program are in keeping with the tenets of the University's Mission Statement, "dedicated to career enhancing, quality education" with a global perspective. Implicit in the program's design is a concern for multicultural perspectives on education and training, given the University's diverse international clientele. As a unit of the University's School of Education, and in keeping with its Mission statement, the program also seeks to serve the needs of educators in providing leading-edge technology enhanced instructional opportunities to their local and statewide constituents.
