La Plagne is not just one skiing resort, but ten ski resorts joint in one. It's an excellent area not only for advanced skiers, but also for complete beginners. There are two glacier areas, where you can ski also during the summer, Bellecôte and La Chiaupe. The main skiing station is La Plagne-Centre, which was created in the 60s, and was very revolutionary in that period. The whole area offers you more than 210 km of slopes, with 70 T-bars, 33 chairlifts and 9 funiculars. La Plagne is truly a paradise for snowboarders, with the excellent snowpark Belle Plagne.

Off Pist
Discover fresh, untouched snow with our highly qualified off-piste guides. Your tuition includes all security equipment which is essential to a good day skiing off piste:
- Search aparatus for avalanche victims ARVA
- Probe
- Snow shovel
- “Security Vanoise” radio
For your first time off-piste, we recommend 3 hours. This includes technical tuition as well as discovery of the domain. For itineraries such as the North Face, you will need at least 4 hours. Transport to the VANOISE area is not included in our rates.
